Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist and become a vital part of promoting wellness, relaxation, and pain relief for our diverse clientele. In this role, you will deliver professional massage services tailored to individual needs, utilizing your expertise in various techniques to enhance overall well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in a thriving health and wellness setting. This position is non employee position. This is a contract position. The pay is biweekly and is direct deposit.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions using techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address specific client concerns.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health histories, current conditions, and treatment goals.
- Maintain detailed treatment records, including patient notes, progress reports, and treatment plans in compliance with licensing standards.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation protocols and proper equipment maintenance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a relaxing atmosphere, addressing client questions, and fostering positive relationships.
- Spa is clean and spacious. Therapist must get along with other therapists and contribute to helping with light cleaning and laundry.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and attention to detail.
