    Responsibilities:

    1. Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
    2. Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate documentation, including purchase orders and approvals.
    3. Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
    4. Prepare and perform check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments in a timely manner, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
    5. Reconcile vendor statements and address any outstanding issues or discrepancies promptly.
    6. Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor files, including W-9 forms and contact information.
    7. Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment inquiries, statements, and reconciliations.
    8. Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals, prepaids, and journal entries related to accounts payable.
    9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.
    10. Stay informed about changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices related to accounts payable.

    Qualifications:

    1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
    2. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related finance role.
    3. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
    5. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    6. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    7. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
    8. Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting standards.
    9. Prior experience in the retail or consumer goods industry is a plus.
    10. Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations is preferred but not required.
    Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
