    Duties:


    Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

    Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates by selecting and training; mentoring; assigning duties; building a team-based work environment; establishing performance expectations and conducting regular performance evaluations; providing recognition and rewards; coaching for success and improvement; and ensuring diversity awareness.

    Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by training and providing direction to others in their use and application; ensuring compliance with them; and utilizing and supporting the Open Door Policy.

    Ensures business needs are being met by evaluating the ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with business partners, managers, co-workers, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving efficiency and cost effectiveness; and participating in and supporting community outreach events.

    Provides direction to the financial planning process by preparing financial analysis and modeling; recommending future expense targets; and planning and analyzing business performance in partnership with cross-functional areas.

    Provides input for business decisions by producing complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks; participating in business case presentations to senior and executive management; and communicating forecasts, assumptions, and variances to senior management.

    Manages complex control structures to mitigate risk of financial misstatement by examining and monitoring at different stages; guiding cross functional teams to develop new processes; ensuring proper controls are present in new and existing financial functions; and working to enhance reporting transparency of company financial systems.

    Collaborates with senior management to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives; providing feedback to management regarding risks associated with financial projects; supporting business unit budget process; and providing insight on relevant historical trends, expected future events, and retail trends.


    Minimum education and experience required:


    Master's degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.


    Skills required:

    Must have experience with:
    Financial Analysis and Reporting: Providing finance support for routine, adhoc, or daily reporting needs of the business;

    Decision Support:
    Building business cases and financial model that drives decision making on key initiatives for Sourcing such as procurement from global Countries of Excellence, rate card for services etc

    ; Data Modeling:

    working with large datasets including financial and operational data and providing insights from the data to senior leadership, including global economic or operational information; Using MS Excel to write complex formulas and work with macros to provide scenario analysis and problem solving; Power BI/Tableau to pull data from the Power BI systems to provide visibility on current state of business; Data visualization and storytelling - synthesizing complex information in easily digestible visuals using PowerPoint and Excel to communicate results and tell the story of the performance; Knowledge about retail, value chains, and global economies to enable input into major financial decisions as we ensure long-term resilient supply for organization; Challenging the business in defining key outcomes and delivering improved performance whilst maintaining strong working relationships; Understanding broader retail trends, foresee financial opportunities and risks, and effectively influence senior leaders; Partnering closely with cross-functional peers (e.g., other Finance teams, HR, Central Ops, etc.) in every segment to ensure successful execution of Sourcing and initiatives; Communicating and empathizing with people across many functions and cultures.
