    Job Description:

    The key focus for a Recruiting AVP is to execute a recruiting strategy to attract, source and recruit a broad and diverse set of candidates. Reporting into the Head of Investment Recruiting, you will initiate and drive the full lifecycle recruiting strategy and be an ambassador for Blackstone.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Recommending and implementing an effective recruiting strategy for the business
    • Sourcing and screening qualified candidates for open positions
    • Identifying investment talent through a wide range of sources
    • Partnering with the Blackstone Sourcing team, on more specialized searches
    • Demonstrating a high level of understanding of the investment groups
    • Becoming a subject matter expert on market activity and best practices
    • Providing appropriate recommendations to improve processes
    • Providing timely updates to the business as well as candidates throughout the process
    • Proactively developing and implementing marketing campaigns to tackle niche and specialized projects
    • Developing and managing search firm relationships to ensure market connectivity
    • Providing market and candidate updates to stakeholders
    • Partnering with HR and Compensation teams to structure competitive offer packages
    • Demonstrating a high level of understanding of alternative investment strategies
    • Proactively developing and implementing marketing campaigns to tackle niche and specialized projects
    Qualifications:

    Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent, and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. A successful candidate should have:
    • 5+ years' experience with full life cycle recruiting in an investment-focused environment or staffing firm supporting financial services clients
    • Prior experience working for a search firm, coupled with investment experience is preferred
    • Proven ability to creatively recommend sourcing strategies utilizing job boards, associations, employee referral programs, social media and internet searches.
    • Knowledge of recruiting technology (Boolean search logic, LinkedIn Recruiter, Workday, Outlook, Web, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) preferred
    • Strong multitasking and project management skills
    • Demonstrated experience working in a dynamic, high-touch environment
    • Organizational skills, attention to detail
    • Strong relationship building/stakeholder management skills

    Expected annual base salary range:

    $110,000 - $160,000

    Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

    Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
