    Job Summary/Basic Function
    About This Role:

    Assistant / Associate Professor: Sport and Recreational Management. Tenure Track. This position will effectively perform duties and responsibilities of the position. The duties and responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in : Sport and Recreational Management; advise and mentor students; pursue a research agenda resulting in publications and extramural support; collaborate with field-based colleagues; provide service to the department, college, university and profession; demonstrate the ability to obtain graduate faculty status.

    Minimum Qualifications (Education & Experience)
    • Candidates should have an earned doctorate in: Sport and Recreational Management or related area and appropriate certifications.
    • The faculty member must have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship. Preference will be given to those applicants who have prior teaching experience at the college level using both face-to-face traditional and online course delivery preferred; a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and evidence of scholarly activity as exemplified by published manuscripts and external funding is preferred; practical experience in exercise testing, biochemical analysis, and exercise programming.
