- Set up and manage projects, ensuring all phases are aligned with the master schedule.
- Engage with trade partners to gather market feedback for early pricing efforts.
- Develop and implement site logistics and phasing plans.
- Collaborate with the project team to plan, sequence, and schedule projects.
- Review plans and provide comments on design regarding constructability and completeness.
- Take-off quantities and budget the cost of the work.
- Prepare bid packages, preliminary schedules and any other information required to receive responsive, competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Provide a thorough scope review for each trade plugging additional pricing where appropriate.
- Assemble a complete GMP proposal that provides reasonable risk management and present to the project team for review.
- Manage submittals, cost controls, and subcontractor relations.
- Oversee project safety and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Maintain robust client relations through regular progress meetings, reports, and correspondence.
- Direct the project turnover documentation, warranty administration, project closeout, and recordkeeping/retention processes and procedures.
- Promote safety and supports our care for life value, ensuring adherence to safety expectations and standards for self and others' work.
- Schedule Management: Develops, manages, and maintains schedules and timelines.
- A minimum of 3 years construction experience in roles such as pre-construction and project management,
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management is preferred, though equivalent work experience is also valued.
- Proficient understanding of general construction costs, and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret pre-construction documents across various project types.
- In-depth knowledge of construction building principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Project, Word and Excel.

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee our projects from the preconstruction phase through to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project setup and management, with a focus on developing comprehensive schedules and coordinating early pricing efforts with minimal design data. Responsibilities include developing preliminary and master schedules, soliciting market feedback from trade partners, creating site logistics and phasing plans, and monitoring design progress. The role demands active involvement in planning, sequencing, and scheduling projects, with substantial input from the superintendent.
The ideal candidate will be based in the United States, preferably in the Southeast region, to align with our project locations and client base. However, we are also considering applicants from other regions. Our projects require a leader with direct experience and a proven track record in managing complex commercial and industrial projects.
