- Serves as the team lead of the SCADA Integration and Test team providing direction and oversight to junior electrical and field engineers.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances complex and controls systems based upon documented requirements
- Utilizes development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment
- A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the Electrical/Mechanical engineering field.
- Bachelors Degree in a STEM discipline - Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math, or other related technical curriculum
- Experience with complex electrical/electronic systems to include System Analysis, Systems
- Must be willing to travel on short term assignments on short notice.
- Must have US passport for OCONUS travel if needed
- Provide engineering and program support on planning, logistics, design, test, evaluation, and systems engineering of research, development, test, and evaluation projects.
- Perform design analyses and calculations for electrical projects and be responsible for the preparation of final detailed working drawings.
- Perform review and quality checks on projects prepared by in-house engineers and architects.
- Conduct various studies, monitors project progress and prepares programmatic reports.
- Develop working knowledge of all technical requirements of the projects.
- Communicates with engineering professionals, solution users, and management throughout the solution development cycle.
- Publishes and presents technical papers and abstracts to participate in internal and external technical program reviews.
- Technical experience in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) development
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
- May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment
