    Job Overview

    As an Inside Sales Rep, you'll be reporting to the Head of Independent Sales Accounts and collaborating closely with other departments such as Order Entry, Customer Service, and Sourcing. Your primary responsibility in this role will be leveraging your sales expertise to identify and capitalize on business opportunities while fostering strong relationships with customers.


    Job Responsibilities

    • Maintain and analyze sales data for existing accounts while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
    • Cultivate positive relationships with customers through effective communication via email and phone, addressing their needs promptly and providing comprehensive product information.
    • Offer sales support to both Inside and Outside Sales Teams to ensure smooth operations and maximize sales potential.
    • Collaborate with various sales departments to optimize processes and improve the overall customer experience.
    • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, new products, and potential business opportunities.
    • Develop and deliver engaging sales presentations, utilizing both in-person and virtual platforms, to effectively communicate product features and benefits.
    • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry dynamics to provide informed recommendations and solutions to customers.
    • Utilize ERP systems such as Simparel and Sage X3 to manage sales data and streamline operations.
    • Be willing to attend Trade Shows to showcase products, build connections, and strengthen customer relationships, ultimately driving sales growth.

    Job Competencies

    • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
    • 5+ years of B2B Sales and Customer Service experience.
    • Familiar with ERP Software, particularly Sage X3, is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations.
    • Capable of working independently on assigned tasks, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills.
    • Understanding of Manufacturing/Wholesale processes for navigating industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
    • Prior experience with Trade Shows to effectively promote products and network with potential clients.
    • Applicants must be able to commute to the Westbury office.

    *Salary offer will be commensurate with the level of experience.
