    Ampcore Electric is a central New Jersey electrical contractor that preforms a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential projects throughout NJ. We believe in creating a supportive and family friendly environment that all of our team members can thrive in.

    We have immediate openings available for experienced electricians looking to further their careers. We offer competitive pay, paid time off, and healthcare benefits. This is a great opportunity for talented, energetic, and dedicated apprentices looking to join a team, continue their education and gain experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
    • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
    • Troubleshoot motor and control systems
    • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems
    • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, residential wiring and installations
    • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
    • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
    • Familiarity with running conduit and wiring
    • Strong troubleshooting skills
    • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Dependable with a good work ethic and neat appearance.
    • Must own hand tools
    • Comply with all safety standards and regulations of the National Electrical Code
    • Valid NJ driver's license
