Join MedStar Health’s largest healthcare system in the Baltimore-Washington metro region as a Nuclear Medicine CT Technologist at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform molecular imaging procedures including PET/CT scans and Diagnostic CT procedures while adhering to laws, regulations, hospital philosophy policies procedures standards and patient safety guidelines.


• Maintain radiation safety precautions ensure equipment is functioning properly report repairs keep assigned rooms clean stocked participate orientation learning opportunities for department staff students.


• Educate patients families nursing staff about procedure answer questions assist physicians nuclear medicine radiology with special procedures contribute efficient room turnover coordinate communicate collaborate financial associates minimize delays potential safety issues outpatient population.

The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of nuclear medicine theory techniques radiation safety practices skills operating molecular imaging equipment allied health degree preferred ARRT or NMTCB certification registration within one year graduate AMA approved school nuclear medicine technology graduation associate degrees allied fields qualifications desired information listed job description.,
