    Comprehensive Ophthalmic Care at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston

    We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team at Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. As an Ophthalmic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive ophthalmic care to our patients.

    About the Role

    This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience, as we provide free training for motivated individuals. You will work under the direct supervision of the department supervisor and be responsible for assisting the physician in gathering patient data and maintaining a conducive clinical environment.

    You will perform a variety of essential tasks, including conducting visual acuity testing, visual field testing, lensometry, auto refractometry, refractometry, pupil assessment, extraocular motility, gross external examination, applanation tonometry, tonopen, eye drop instillation, diagnostic testing, and participating in patient care within a clinical setting.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
