    Description

    Plastic Extrusion Operator

    We are looking for a skilled Plastic Extrusion Operator to be part of our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain extrusion equipment to produce top-notch plastic products meeting client specifications. As the Plastic Extrusion Operator, you will also ensure safety, environmental responsibility, quality control, and continuous improvement standards are met.

    Job Type: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift available, On-site

    Responsibilities for the Plastic Extrusion Operator:

    • Set up and operate extrusion equipment following standard operating procedures
    • Monitor the extrusion process to guarantee product quality and meet specifications
    • Adjust machine settings as necessary for product quality
    • Maintain 80% efficiency by increasing uptime and reducing rejects
    • Troubleshoot and fix any extrusion equipment issues
    • Boost productivity by acting promptly when resources are needed
    • Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
    • Collaborate with the production team to achieve production goals

    Requirements of the Plastic Extrusion Operator:

    • Minimum 3-5+ years of Plastic Extrusion Operating experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior experience in operating plastic extrusion equipment preferred
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
    • Ability to understand technical drawings and specifications
    • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
