The Medical Records Retrieval Specialist/Risk Adjustment Representative travels to provider offices within the region and scans medical records into a secure system.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely efficient manner.
  • Use laptop computer portable scanner encrypted flash drive retrieve medical records uploaded database.

QualificationsAble lift lbs years provider office/medical office setting experience medical record retrieval experience proficiency Microsoft Office applications Word Excel ability keyboard navigation skills learn new computer programs HR policies procedures guidelines regulatory compliance federal state regulations HIPAA confidentiality data security practices patient privacy rights laws regulations employment background check process personal vehicle liability insurance limits motor vehicle report requirements test driving safety program
  • 1+years demonstrated ability using computer Windows PC applications strong skills include learning new software systems operating systems

  • Travel occasional Humanas offices training meetings required
