One of the reasons so many drivers choose Roehl is the company’s over 50 years of transportation success. Roehl was not built to serve shareholders or banks. Everett Roehl started Roehl as a driver. We’re built to serve our customers and we do that by taking care of our drivers.

Rick Roehl, our CEO, is also a professional truck driver with his Class A CDL. Rick gets behind the wheel, going over the road to do what the most important people in this company do – hauling freight. That's the only way to lead a drivers' company.

No matter your level of experience – from seasoned driver to just starting out the industry, Roehl’s the place for mission-driven professional drivers.

Roehl. Our drivers are leaders. Our leader is a driver.

At Roehl, our mission is to deliver confidence and satisfaction to our customers while we protect those we share the roads with. In this video, you'll learn why the Roehl Way of Protective Driving is the best way to succeed at our mission.

You'll hear from experienced professional truck drivers and certified truck driver trainers about the Safe 7 - the best techniques in the business.

Meet Bob O'Connor, a CDL holder and driver for Roehl Transport. 1 year ago, Bob decided it was time for a career change. In this video, Bob starts off by telling his story, which includes him working 2 jobs at a time just to make ends meet. At one point, Bob lost both jobs and started to fall behind on his financial obligations. He realized it was time for a change. He wanted something new. For years, Bob had always thought he could do well at driving a commercial truck for a living. With this in mind, Bob started to research a career in truck driving. Bob was under the impression that he would simply be able to walk into his local DMV office, pay for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and be on his way to driving a truck full time. He quickly learned that there was more to getting a CDL and a job driving a truck. Not only did he need to pass multiple written tests and a skills test, he also needed to have a minimum of 6 months experience of over the road driving in a commercial vehicle to even be considered for a job in trucking. With this information, Bob began to research truck driving schools. Bob's neighbor worked at a local community college and during a discussion, his neighbor mentioned they had a truck driving program. There was a problem. The cost. Bob learned it was going to cost him upwards of $5000.00 to attend truck driving school. With no job and no savings, this was going to be next to impossible. Bob decided to do some research online and see what his options were. During his research, he kept stumbling upon results that mentioned "company-sponsored CDL programs", where trucking companies offer paid CDL training (you essentially get paid to get your CDL).

In comes Roehl. After reading countless reviews, researching trucking company track records (safety, how they treat their employees, compensation, and benefits), Bob decided that Roehl checked all the boxes. Roehl not only offered paid CDL training through their Get Your CDL Program but the opportunity for guaranteed work after completing the training. Bob decided to complete an application and within 24 hours, he received a phone call. It was a recruiter from Roehl and she wanted to conduct an interview on the spot. The interview went well, and after a few days, Roehl called Bob back. Bob was being accepted into Roehl's Get Your CDL Program.

This video, featuring Bob, dives into his experience with Roehl, their paid CDL training program, and the steps he needed to take in order to not only earn his CDL, but also his experience in being hired by Roehl to drive a commercial truck full time.

**** Update: Roehl's program is now just three weeks meaning you'll get your CDL sooner! ****

Watch this video to get an inside look at Roehl Transport's Get Your CDL program - where you can get paid while you are training to get your CDL.

In this new video, you'll hear from recent CDL program graduates, certified driver trainers, fleet managers, and other driver supporters about the process to Get Your Commercial Driver's License, CDL, and the continued training you'll receive as a part of one of North America's safest and most successful trucking companies.

To learn more about how to get your CDL and get paid while you do it, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Roehl Transport VP Greg Koepel appeared on the nationally syndicated television show CBS This Morning. Greg spoke about Roehl's paid CDL truck driver training program and how Roehl's truck driving jobs stand out in the hyper-competitive driver job market.
