ZIQIAN ZHANG

I am a Mathematics and Business Management student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), passionate about integrating data analytics, finance, and technology to drive smarter business decisions. My experiences include analyzing 300K+ job listings as a research assistant to study AI’s impact on hiring, and supporting international marketing operations at Guangzhou Fenix Products, achieving USD 67K in deals during The Inspired Home Show in Chicago. I also completed an AR Development externship with Snapchat, exploring Gen Z consumer trends and AR market data. As President of the RPI Badminton Club and Treasurer of the Tennis Club, I lead diverse teams, manage budgets, and organize events—combining analytical thinking with leadership and communication skills. 

I have experience in marketing, research, and technology-driven business analysis. As a Marketing Intern at Guangzhou Fenix Products, I supported international trade operations and achieved USD 67K in deals during The Inspired Home Show in Chicago. At RPI’s Lally School of Management, I analyzed 300K+ job listings to study AI’s impact on employment trends, visualizing insights with Python. I also completed an AR Development externship with Snapchat, exploring Gen Z marketing trends and data visualization. 

I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Business Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), expected to graduate in 2027. My coursework spans mathematics analysis, corporate finance, managerial accounting, and financial statistics, integrating data analytics with business decision-making. I maintain a 3.0 GPA and was selected for the 2025 Goldman Sachs Insight Program, deepening my exposure to finance and quantitative analysis.
