Hello, im an HT(ascp)cm looking to relocate to a lab the promotes a healthy work life balance as well as focuses on mental--and not just physical--health of their employees.

I came into histology about 10 years ago after not being sure I wanted to continue persuing a pre medicine track and needing to focus on what I wanted from my career. My community college offered me a seat in the NAACLS accredited program and it's been histology ever since. I've worked in a handful of labs in a handful of places like Mount Sinai in Chicago, Quest- Las Vegas and Denver, Labcorp and Neogenomics in San Diego, Kaiser and Providence in Portland, and now Pittsburgh seems to be the place calling me "home.' Both of my parents are from western Pennsylvania and I've been thinking about moving to Pittsburgh for a quite some time, and now, more than ever, seems like the time as I don't think I want to get into an apartment here in Denver and continue working a job that consumes every bit of personal time and space, or stay at my brothers and save more and adds an hour to the commute at either end of my day
