About Yvonne Williams:
During my career, I served as an Executive Administrator for C-Suite executives and attorneys, HR Director for a non-profit organization, and HR Manager for a manufacturing corporation. For several years, I assisted senior leaders at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in roles as Project Specialist, Work Group Coordinator, Program Analyst, Executive Assistant, and Program Specialist. My primary responsibilities entailed managing multiple calendars to include ensuring impromptu meetings were scheduled; arranging domestic and international travel; leading administrative workgroups; managing the projected travel budget; recording minutes of management and workgroup meetings; assisting the Board of Directors; serving on various committees; managing time and attendance; managing the Learning Portal; developing SOPs for onboarding and training; orienting new employees; recruitment, managing the facility; conducting annual insurance renewals; planning company-wide events; arranging leadership retreats; administering employee benefits; revising job descriptions; and assisting with special projects. As a nurturer, by character, I utilize any free time that I may have to offer additional assistance to my manager and colleagues.
Timely management of calendars, tasks, travel, expense reports, and recording minutes are second nature to me. As a detail and results--oriented administrator, my diverse background will allow me to be in a position to hit the ground running.
Experience
I am an Executive Administrator with more than 25 years’ executive administrative experience, to include managing all aspects of HR as Director, HR of a non-profit organization, and Manager, HR for a manufacturing corporation, supported C-Suite level executives and attorneys in corporate, banking, legal, non-profit and government environments. Her responsibilities have included managing multiple calendars; managing in-box of executives; recording minutes of management and project meetings; creating correspondence and reports; managing office supply inventory; liaison to Board of Directors; meeting preparation; preparing and presenting reports to Board of Directors; arranging domestic and international travel; managing projects; arranging meetings, leadership retreats and company-wide events; facilitating meetings; managing travel budget; serving as HHS Learning Portal Administrator; and creating SOPs.
My greatest accomplishment was revising the IT consultant procedure which resulted in an annual savings of over $50,000.
My top strengths are: Strong work ethics, attention to detail, organization, communication, event planning, following up action items from meetings, overall administration and calendar management, proactive vs. reactive, and interpersonal skills.
