About Young Kwan Cho:
With a robust background in analytical chemistry and a profound commitment to advancing
research in electrochemical analysis and nanochemistry, I am excited about the opportunity
to contribute to your team. My experience at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard
Medical School has equipped me with the skills necessary to support and innovate in the
field of point-of-care medical devices.
During my tenure as a postdoctoral researcher, I have spearheaded projects focused on
developing an electrochemical luminescence (ECL) and electrochemical (EC) sensing
system aimed at revolutionizing various fields of diagnostics such as cytokines, COVID-
19 neutralizing antibodies and food allergies. This work, particularly my role in creating
sensor systems for rapid diagnostics and performing critical biomarker detection
experiments, aligns closely with the goals of your department. My ability to prepare key
reagents set up complex measurement apparatuses, and meticulously conduct experiments
has been demonstrated through various successful project completions.
I am eager to bring my background in electrochemistry and analytical science to your team.
My professional journey has been marked by a series of collaborations across various
disciplines, underscoring my ability to adapt and thrive in diverse research environments.
Enclosed is my CV for your review. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I
can contribute to the groundbreaking work at your company. Thank you for considering
my application. I am looking forward to your response.

SUMMARY
Current Research: Nanochemistry and Electrochemical Analysis for developing pointof-
care medical devices. Development an electrochemical luminescence (ECL) and
electrochemical (EC) sensing system for a point-of-care biomarker diagnostics system
1. Making the sensor system for fast protein diagnostic (EC and ECL).
2. Purification and preparing antibodies, DNA probes, and other reagents.
3. Diagnostic and characterization of extracellular vesicles (EVs)
4. Setting up measurement equipment that will interface with the biosensor (HPLC).
5. Performing the biomarker detection experiments (ELISA).
