Yerin Cho

I am currently a Master's candidate in Statistics at Columbia University. With a business administration and statistics background, I have highly quantitative skills and a great passion for data science and machine learning.

I am enthusiastic about utilizing my statistical knowledge to optimize business decision-making through concrete scientific principles.

Before pursuing graduate studies, I was a chief director of Operations and Data Analytics at a startup company. My main job was to raise external investment funds, effectively manage capital, and develop/execute budgets for operational needs. Also, I implemented data-driven proposals using data-scientific methodologies. I worked with customer opinion datasets using NLP, museum visitor trends, web search volumes, and user experience feedback using time series modeling.
