About Yaritza Santiago:
I earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology of Art; I have six years working with students. As a highly passionate and encouraging teaching professional, I am confident in my ability to become a valuable member of your academic team.
As you will see, in the resume that highlights my experiences, as well my passion is to promote the sports and a healthy lifestyle to students and community. Being a Teacher, I have had the opportunity to educate diverse students including those challenged by attention deficit disorder (ADD), Autism, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I have also the ability to speak, read, and write Spanish fluently, for those students who are learning the English language. In addition, I am prepared to evaluate the students who functioned below- on, and above grade level. As result, I am a person who evaluates each student’s unique needs before I perform my lesson plans. I have a good communication skill it helps me to creates a positive learning environment and fosters learner success. Also, I build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. I discuss results with students, parents, and school officials. Additional I utilize different methods and teaching techniques to ensure that each student is able to understand the objective of the activity, enhance their own personal skills, enjoy the activity and socialize with other students. Also, I inspire the community learning integrates with the fun sports, games, and activities that emphasize health and fitness.
My strengths are the dedication to my work, patience with all behaviors and a strong sense of organization. Also, keeping students motivated and participating in the physical activity. In addition to above methods, I provide individualized positive feedback to increment all students’ self- confidence and self-esteem. Also, I will participate in staff meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
