Xinxin Cao

Hi, my name is Nina Cao and I am a first year at Northeastern University, currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting with a minor in Data Science. I am passionate about leveraging financial expertise and data analytics to drive sustainable business practices. Having experience in sales and sustainable business practices through my nonprofit work collecting donated clothing and operating thrift sales, this hands-on experience has strengthened my passion for combining business acumen with environmental responsibility. I am seeking opportunities to apply my analytical skills to real-world sustainability challenges through co-ops and internships. 

I thrive in environments that combine mathematical precision with creative design thinking. I am driven by leadership and passions to make a positive environmental impact, finding innovative solutions to complex problems, and innovation in traditional accounting practices.

I bring extensive experience working with children, having held roles at Holmdel Montessori School, Huaxia Chinese School, and Master Park's Black Belt America. These positions have helped me develop a patient, easygoing demeanor and strong interpersonal skills. I am also a quick and creative problem solver, consistently finding innovative and timely solutions to meet the diverse needs of students, parents, and colleagues.

I am a first-year Business Administration student at Northeastern University, concentrating in Accounting, with an expected graduation year of 2028. I began my studies abroad at the University of Glasgow in Scotland, gaining valuable global perspective. My completed coursework includes Financial Accounting, Supply Chain and Operations Management, Innovation, Microeconomics, Economic and Social History, Writing, Art and Design, and Fundamentals of Business. Upcoming courses include Managerial Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Macroeconomics, Marketing, and International Business. I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and am passionate about building a strong foundation in business.
