William Lopez

I’m an undergraduate psychology major and biology minor at UMass Amherst focused on research, human behavior, and improving systems that serve communities. My academic work spans cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and applied behavioral science. I’m committed to public service, and I’m developing the analytical, communication, and leadership skills needed to contribute to federal work and evidence-based decision making.

My professional experience includes retail operations, customer service, and inventory management from my role at Walmart, where I supported overnight stocking, maintained product accuracy, and ensured a clean and organized sales floor. In addition, my psychology coursework at UMass Amherst has given me experience with academic research, data interpretation, and producing clear written reports. Combined, these roles have strengthened my ability to work reliably under pressure, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with others.

I’m completing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a minor in Biology. My coursework includes research methods, cognitive psychology, neuroscience, and statistical analysis.
