William Kinlaw

With 26 years of experience in the construction industry, I am a versatile and skilled converter at Georgia-Pacific LLC, a leading manufacturer of paper products and building materials. I joined the company in January 2024, after a seven-month unemployment gap, and I am eager to contribute to its growth and innovation.

As a converter, I apply my expertise in welding and carpentry to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications and industry standards. I am also proficient in using hand tools and structural masonry to perform various tasks and projects. I have a passion for quality work and an extensive eye for detail, which I have demonstrated in my previous role as a builder at Mediterranean Design and Development, a custom home builder and remodeler. There, I worked on several residential and commercial projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion and customer satisfaction.

I am highly dedicated to my career and my family, as a father of seven children. I have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different environments and situations. I have worked in three respected unions throughout the country and have earned the respect and praise of my peers and supervisors. I am currently seeking a long-term opportunity that will provide me with stability, growth, and fulfillment.
