About Whitney Anderson:

I am a passionate person who loves to cultivate meaningful relationships with others. I have a keen interest in teaching English or Physical Education. I have experience in traditional school settings, as well as out-of-school programs involving sports and life skills. I love to travel, love sports and fitness, cooking, literature, and the outdoors. 

Experience

I currently work in Eugene, Oregon as a barista in a local cafe, and as a referee for basketball, football and softball. Within schools I have worked as a Teacher's Assistant for 5-10 year old students for two years. I also have coached volleyball and basketball for 5-14 year old students from 2018-2022, and love that environment. I also interned as a Fitness and Physical Education Coordinator Assistant where we ran after school programs for children aged 4-14.

Education

In June of 2023 I will graduate from the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon with a Bachelor's Degree in Education Foundations; focusing on Early Childhood Education, with a minor in Sports Business.
