I attended Whitney Young Magnet High School and graduated in June 1991. In following up my college education, I chose Florida A&M University in August 1991, unfortunately I was not able to complete my degree in accounting and came home in February 1993. I did regroup and decided to get a degree at the City Colleges of Chicago in Nursing but due to circumstances beyond my control was shy of 9 credit hours for my degree.
