As a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 10 years of experience, I have obtained an extensive wealth of knowledge of patient care in various settings as well as experience in both leadership and business management. My expertise includes providing the compassionate quality patient care within internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, hospital consultations via specialty services, Department of corrections with strict compliance of laws, statutes and regulations, agency within various clinical settings, pain management, substance use disorder clinical settings, collaboration of care with both internal, counseling and community care services, quality management, and leadership. 

Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I had many opportunities as a registered to train and experience in various specialties. Becoming a nurse practitioner, has also provided the same opportunities to experience and become more proficient in various career paths. While, not at positions for extensive periods of time due to physician retirement, Covid-19, business closings, or changes to personal/family needs, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge that has supported my growth and understanding in an ever changing and growing healthcare system. 

My most recent experience has been supporting patient wellness throughout the life-span, prevention of hospitalizations for patients with chronic illness, acute and chronic care, quality care management of various patient health needs, collaboration of community services, ability to utilized various electronic health systems, telehealth, AI assistance, and skills for clinical procedures.
