I am a passionate early learning advocate with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to making learning environments better for children and the educators who guide them. My expertise lies in coaching teachers and leading programs to excellence, whether it's through engaging hands-on workshops, helping schools earn their quality accreditations, or designing creative and practical training resources. I love using technology - from simple classroom tools to podcasts and webinars - to share best practices and inspire educators across the country, all with the goal of building strong foundations for every young child.

For over 25 years, my professional journey has been all about supporting the incredible people who teach our youngest learners. I see my role as a coach and a partner. I get to work directly with teachers and directors, helping them bring the best, most engaging practice into their classrooms and navigate the sometimes-complex world of quality standards and accreditation.

A huge part of my work is listening to what educators need and then creating practical, hands-on training and resources that actually work for them. Whether it's through a heartfelt workshop, a helpful classroom makeover, or a simple how-to video, my goal is always the same: to make their jobs easier and more effective, so they can focus on what they do best - giving children a joyful and strong start in their schooling and in life.

My formal education was just the beginning of a lifelong commitment to learning how to best support children and teachers. I built a strong foundation in Child Development during my undergraduate studies which gave me the essential ‘why’ behind early childhood education. And my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction gave me the ‘how’ - equipping me with tools to design effective learning experiences that educators can take into their programs and share with fellow colleagues.

I believe the learning never stops. I've made it a priority to keep my knowledge fresh and relevant through state-approved certifications and specialized training, such as CLASS and Conscious Discipline. And a core part of my education, I believe, is researching topics that will provide ways to better serve the programs in which I partner.
