Theodore Sampieri

I have been has been a New York State Certified Public School Teacher for almost two decades, teaching in several educational school districts (both on Long Island & New York City), Brookhaven National Laboratory, and SUNY Farmingdale, and for the Department of Defense. 

I have taught English as a Second Language (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) in Adult Education programs on Long Island for the last several years. In addition to teaching, he was also a certified BEST PLUS administrator for the New York State Education Department. Furthermore, I have also taught United States History & Government, World History, Criminal Justice, and Social Studies related courses. 

I am very enthusiastic and passionate about education, with a diverse background and experience. I have been assisting and working with multi-cultural students and their families from around the world for over twenty years.

I would love to bring my related skills & experience to Stony Brook University to further contribute to a tremendous institution.

 I have been an educator for over twenty-two years. I have worked with & assisted hundreds of students (from children to adults) in various ways. I have experience teaching and working with multicultural students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds addressing numerous factors & notions, including, but not limited to: Instruction, formal & informal assessments, various training needs, designing, developing STEM lessons/ concepts, and implementing educational programs (children- adults). I have numerous years of experience working in a variety of school settings, which enabled me to absorb and comprehend both the complexity and the totality of our education system, thus ultimately benefiting all of my students in various ways
