Began professional career as a procurement assistant for a small sign company. Gained knowledge of purchasing procedures, inventory management, and negotiation skills. Transitioned into to an analyst role within the insurance industry. Took from role valuable analytical skills, vast technical writing experiences, and management skills as I was promoted to an assistant manager role. I work as a Procurement Specialist at Deriva Energy, a company operated under Brookfield Renewables. I specialize in tactical procurement of parts and services for our commercial wind and solar farms. I work out of popular procurement softwares and utilize analytical skills gained from my time in the insurance industry. I also work to maintain compliance under federal SOX regulations.

I am completing the last two courses of my bachelors degree at University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I am expected to graduate in a few months in the Fall of 2025. I did not have the financial support to attend school full-time and therefore, I am especially proud of this accomplishment. Additionally, I am currently studying for my LSAT in preparation for future education endeavors.
