Terry Colquitt

My name is Terry colquitt, im 28 years old and originally from the high desert in southern california. I pride myself on being a fast learner and a hard worker. Some would say im tenacious and eager to learn. I feel i must master new skills so that i can better assist the company im with as well as ensure that everything associated with my position is done efficiently and correctly the first time so that the best possible outcome will take place. As a candidate i know that i can add value to any team im a part of and if given the opportunity, will prove to be an asset and a sound investment rge company as a whole.

My professional experience began at a young age of 12, where i would assist my mother in the care of patients by cleaning up after them, as well as catering to any non medical needs they may have had. During that period i also spent my spare time helping with sales and promotions at a skate shop where i grew up, and in exchange for helping theyd provide me with discounts and free items year around. It wasnt until the age of 16 that i got a job that i was payed for regularly, and that was for fantastic fundraising. It was a cold call sales position which helped me develop  my interpersonal communication skills as well as a drive to work hard and be first. After that, i started working as a busboy for toms no.16 in hesperia, ca while also attending highschool, however my grades began to slip and i lost my workers permit. Although i was sad it taught me the valuable lesson of balance in life. I continued to go to school and when i was 19 i started working as a merchandiser for davis merchandising group which i di for 2 years, while simultaneously working as an assistant taekwondo instructor for wtts taekwondo. After that i took a short break where i went to ntma training centers where i became certified in cnc machining as well as graduating with a 4.0 and perfect attendance,. Shortly before graduation i started working at protek performance where i managed the machine shop until shortly after the pandemic began and i was let go due to the company closing for a time. Finally i began working at intra aerospace,where i currentl   work as a cnc gear machinist since December of 2020
