I love being able to make a difference for people. I enjoy completing assignments and then watching the impact on processes unfold. I especially like when the impact helps members of our insurance plan and community. I love learning new things and then applyiby it to my day to day responsibilities. 

  I have 16 years with a large local insurance company.  I have experience reviewing and auditing high dollar claims among other related things This includes but is not limited to DRG verification, contract payment verification, government plan regulations, significant plan savings, policy review, research and implementation. I served as the supervisor of a 15 member team for 3 years prior to a downsizing and department combining. My current focus is helping with the new start of auditing and verification of auto authorizations for medical necessity.  I currently have a full time remote position.
