• In-depth knowledge of Financial Services International and Domestic Tax Provision and Tax Compliance. Excellent understanding for US GAAP/SEC reporting, IFRS, FAS109, 163j, GILTI, BEAT and FIN48 rules; Strong knowledge of high-net-worth partnership and individual tax returns, good understanding of Canadian GST, HST, PST and ITC calculations.
• Conduct appealing a tax audit with IRS, determine tax liability through in-depth examination of records and accounting systems, Identify verify the accuracy of returns and amended return and calculation, negotiate approximately $ 9 million in corporate tax reserve in the last 2 years from current and completed tax audits.
