Tara Fontano

As Care Coordinator for over 65 assisted living residents, I gained experience in many aspects of Healthcare administration. I established and maintained good relationships with residents, families and outside agencies. I helped ensure everyone was communicating and on the same page about how to provide the best care for each individual. 

I helped with admissions and assessments, and made sure every residents file was up to date and their care plan was being followed and charted appropriately. 

I managed my staff of 40 CNAs, including hiring, training, scheduling, and promoting complaince with both state and corporate policies and regulations. I led monthly staff meetings and helped maintain a culture of kindness throughout our team. 

I assisted in ordering, confirming, tracking delivery of, and tracking administration for the residents' medications. This included communicating with multiple providers, specialists, and pharmacies. 

I am a caring and compassionate person. Despite its hardships, I'm continually drawn to the Healthcare field. I love the opportunities I have here to make a difference and help the people around me.
