• Reading welding requirements such as welding procedures, weld sizes, preheat interpass and heat inputs.
• Preparing and setting up welding equipment to perform MIG and MIG pulse arc welds.
• Inspecting every weld and scrapping up to remove any discontinuities or defects such as undersized welds, spatters, undercuts, rollovers, slag, silicates, lack of fusion, etc.
• Welding and carbon arcing on HY-80 or OSC1 materials with variable thicknesses.
• Successfully welded a 30 in vertical joint inside a tight, limited access and high heat space.
• Repeatedly archiving daily arc time of over 110 minutes.
