About Tammie Maryland:

I have completed a Patient Care Tech/Assistant program and have completed and passed the CPCT/A exam through NHA. I am looking to join the healthcare field as a PCT/A and learn as much as I can about caring for our patients and later when I feel prepared will continue my journey to become a Nurse. 

Experience

Most of my current and past experience is in health benefits as I am currently in the Human Resources Outsourcing industry where my company assists our clients' employees with enrolling in their benefits, understanding them and ensure that they are using them to their full advantage. I am working to move to the patient side of this to care for the patient and their families. 

Education

I am a high school graduate with some college, and have taken a Patient Care Tech program in which I successfully passed.
