Hi, my name is Takeelia Crawford. I am a full time student (transferred) at Herzing University, my classes are online. my major is AS Medical Assistant; degree i will be receiving my diploma. I am looking to go back in the future for a surgical tech and hopefully get to live the dream of being a nurse for the military. I’ve been doing healthcare for a few years now. Most of my profession falls into being a former DSP, BHA, & DCS. I also have experience with working as a caregiver/PCA. I’ve taken a CNA program including doing 3days of clinical. hands on I prefer I’ve worked in a mental hospita, and group homes. I’ve traveled to different homes giving client care. meal prep 3 meals a day including snack time, assist w/ daily hygiene routines, assisting medication (when needed), assist safety transfers from wheelchairs to bed, vehicles, and etc. I love going on outings with my clients because I love seeing them in a relaxed state being reminded that they are just as normal as I am. Environment safety is always important.
