Tabasum Malik

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, I have always had a deep passion for the dental hygiene field; a field I am proud to have been board-certified in since 2017. As of 2024, I have expanded my licensing in California, further broadening my ability to serve diverse communities. I truly love the career I have chosen, and I enjoy helping individuals receive the dental care they need to improve their oral hygiene and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes/cooking, sewing, and traveling with my husband which brings balance and joy to my life. I am committed to continuing my journey as a dental hygienist and making a positive impact in every smile I encounter.

Mission Statement

I am a positive and adaptable Registered Dental Hygienist, licensed in the United States and Canada. My goal is to seek meaningful employment where I can continue to serve my patients and grow as a professional. I look forward to applying my interpersonal skills, knowledge and client experience in the opportunities given to me.

With over seven years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist and one year as a Dental Assistant, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that allows me to provide exceptional patient care in diverse dental settings. Currently, as a Temp Hygienist, I maintain accurate patient records, document treatment plans, and observe any findings, all while collaborating with dentists to create tailored care plans. A few highlights of many of my experiences over the years are upholding infection control protocols, educating patients on oral hygiene techniques, taking x-rays, intraoral images, performing teeth whitening treatments, taking impressions and overall providing quality care .

Throughout my career, I have learned a lot and continue to do so, which allows me to perform the best care, one I would want for my own family member. This has shaped me to function extremely well under pressure while providing genuine, kind chair-side manners for the comfort of every patient. My extensive experience across various roles and settings has honed my ability to adapt to different patient needs, ensuring that I deliver optimal care to every individual I encounter.
