I’m an experienced English instructor with a Master’s in Liberal Arts and TEFL, TESOL, and Praxis certifications. I teach Composition, Fiction, and Folklore at Louisiana State University and have a strong background in helping students develop their writing, critical thinking, and communication skills. In my 14 years of teaching, I’ve designed interactive lesson plans, provided one-on-one coaching, and worked with diverse learners to improve their academic and creative writing.
Beyond teaching, I have experience in editing, curriculum development, and content creation. I’m also passionate about storytelling and writing, and I’m currently working on a novel that explores folklore, cultural identity, and hidden histories. My skills in digital learning tools, instructional design, and cross-cultural communication make me adaptable in both traditional and remote learning environments. I’d love the opportunity to bring my expertise and enthusiasm to this role!
