Susanne Pender

Innovative, passionate, and dedicated educator who knows the power of anticipating and adapting to the needs of individual students and those of an organization. Collaborator and teacher researcher with over 28 years of experience within an inquiry based classroom creating curriculum, managing complex projects, and analyzing data to make informed and insightful curricular decisions. 

I am interested in finding a position in instructional design or curriculum development. 

I have worked as an educator for a total of 30 years and have achieved National Board Certification three separate times. I have worked as a coaching teacher with peers and student teachers and have presented at over 16 national conferences. I had several articles published and my classroom teaching has been featured in three different professional books and a video series. 

I have a Master degrees in Education from the University of South Carolina and another in Language, Literacy, and Diversity from Coastal Carolina University. I am currently finishing up a Masters in Instructional Systems Design and Assessment Performance with a concentration on developing eLearning curriculum from the Citadel Military College. I also hold a certification as a Reading Coach and Instructional Coach.
