Services offered
I am an editor with more than 10 years of experience editing trailers, social media content, and short films on Adobe Premiere Pro. Recently I worked as a post production assistant at a creative marketing agency and continue to freelance as a video editor & colorist.
Experience
StencilStop - Content Creator
I shot and edited together content for Instagram and Facebook to help market their business and the services they provide. I also assisted with making tutorial videos for their website to aid potential customers. One of their most popular videos on Instagram is the one we shot using an old digital camera of the Adidas ‘Shmoo’ logo.
For the promotional content on their Instagram, it had to be short yet unique. The process for a standard video didn’t take long, but when we began to get creative with the videos we had to find an efficient way to maintain the quality and make as many videos as possible. This meant clearly communicating our idea to the manager and coordinating with the staff.
Post Assistant - Matador Content
I helped create and revise pitch decks for upcoming television series on their slate, which included conducting and compiling research for the shows. I also had the opportunity to sit in on development meetings and observe the creative process of devising format for shows they were actively pitching. Occasionally I would get to help on sets as a production assistant or as a fill-in grip. At the end of the internship, I fully developed and pitched my own documentary which I am continuing to develop.
Working at Matador Content was the perfect opportunity to see how commerce and art can intersect. What was most intriguing to me was how they adapted to new factors on set; anything could happen and it was up to the crew to recognize how it can be utilized for the show.
The Famous Group - Creative Production Assistant
Although a part of the Creative Production Department, I was responsible for a variety of duties spanning across various departments. In addition to office administration, I was responsible for putting together expense reports, quality checking & logging all of our hard drives, writing notes for the daily staff meetings & the occasional client meeting, creating presentations for inter-department changes, and working as production assistant on set.
Recognizing my innate potential to come up with new concepts for experiential activations, I was promoted to work as an assistant to the creative director. I was primarily responsible for keeping track of project milestones and checking in with producers & creatives. In addition, I ideated/brainstormed with the other creatives on various concepts for Mixed Reality & Creative Productions. With my extensive experience in Premiere Pro, I also set up timelines for projects and put together sizzle reels for their social medias.
I had a front seat to all client interactions and the inner-workings of a fairly new company. There were even moments where I got to put together packages (presentations) that we would pitch to clients, and in the process, learn about the business of experiential marketing. This was an invaluable experience where I not only got the chance to bring my creative ideas to fruition, but also experiment with cutting-edge generative AI that we were testing to integrate into our creative process. It was an eye-opening experience into the pitching process for the creative aspect of these activations.
Amplified - Talent Assistant
As an assistant to two talent managers at a startup management company, I was in charge of a variety of duties. My primary duties were sending out & submitting client submissions, organizing & keeping track of their calendars, being the first point of contact for any calls that came into the office, and reviewing potential material for our clients.
This was my first experience working for a talent agency and it was the perfect opportunity to learn about the extensive network of agents, managers, and casting directors who all know each other. Although the work load was more as it was a startup, I quickly acclimated and was able to learn a lot about the talent & literary business.
Education
I recently got certified in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
I graduated from Emerson College with a BFA in Media Arts Production in 2021.
