I’m a current Nursing Student at FSW, I have 4 days off a week. I have volunteered at assisted living facilities and I have volunteered at the ACT shelter to watch children, while their mothers went to job interviews. I’ve watched/babysitter special needs children and I believe I have a innate ability with special needs children, however I like working with all types of children. Ive also volunteered at a soup kitchen and food pantry so working with low-income patients is also a passion of mine. Both of my parents are nurses and have worked for Lee Health, and my stepmother is a practicing midwife. I would love to get a start in peds so I can continue once I get my nursing License. (:

I’ve had I’ve 300 hours (over 4 years) of assisted living experience, and Ive also volunteered to watch special needs children.

Ive also worked overnight at Whataburger in Texas, when I was 16-19. While this isn’t medical, I saw a lot and was in the restaurant by myself with the manager when I was 16, I was working full-time. (for 3 years) I’ve always been responsible and task-oriented.

I’m a current nursing student at FSW I’m in my first semester but I have already taken and passed Pharmacology and I received a 96, or an A+ letter grade. I am also willing to obtain the PALS and PEARS certification (per my RN parents recommendation) if needed (:
