Stephanie Lewis

I have been teaching for 2 years but have realized that teaching might not be for me. I am very organized, detail oriented, punctual, and outgoing. I have great management skills from working with students as well as other teachers and administrators.During my teaching and while in college, I gained a lot of problem solving skills and had to be very flexible because I worked with so many different types of people and personalities. I was a director for my sorority in college for 2 years, so I was in charge of organizing events for a minimum of 200 people and worked with non-profit organizations as well as companies to make my events a success. 

I am currently working as a 4th grade teacher in Mapleton Public Schools. I was a 5th grade teacher last year in Westminster Public Schools. Throughout both years I gained a lot of professional experience and grew a ton as a person and educator. One school was a K-8 and my current school is 4-8, so I interact with a lot of people of different ages daily. 

I graduated 2 years ago with my Bachelors in Elementary Education and a minor in Environmental Education from Arizona State University. I have been researching Master's programs in multiple different fields to continue my education and grow more as a I begin to change my career.
