Job: Intern at the YMCA in Mankato 

Description: At the YMCA I deliver presentations about various nutrition topics including food labeling requirements, dietary recommendations, and cultural foods alongside fellow co-workers and within the ForeverWell program. I have also worked on a cultural food presentation that taught a group of South Sudanese individuals about nutrition along with making an authentic meal for individuals to try. 

 

Job: Baseball Field Maintenence 

Description: Maintained fields within the City of Edina, most notably Braemar fields complex. Braemar is the premiere park attraction in the city, and I worked collaboratively with fellow employees to upkeep the fields by mowing, fertilizing, removing invasive plants, sanitation of facilities, general upkeep of vehicles, weed whacking, and more.
