Skylee Chikuni

I have been a civil litigation paralegal in Arizona since 2010. During the past 15 years, in addition to law firm experience, I have taken advantage of opportunities to work in the construction industry, which served me well to strengthen my skills in negotiating, contracts, and business practices. My dual industry experience makes me an ideal candidate for complex civil litigation matters focusing on construction and real estate matters. 

I maintain an active working knowledge of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure and am familiar with utilizing legal software to keep billable hourly rates. 

Since February 2023 I have worked as a freelance paralegal. The client I work for currently handles complex civil litigation matters mostly relating to construction and real estate matters. I manage docketing and calendaring utilizing LawToolBox software and Microsoft Outlook. I prepare motions, notices, pleadings, disclosure statements, discovery requests and responses, and assist with trial preparation. Additionally, I coordinate depositions, schedule meetings, prepare fee agreements, and other correspondence.
