About Skanda Bharadwaj:

I’m a PhD candidate at LPAC from Penn State University, advised by Prof. Yanxi Liu. My interests include computer vision and deep learning. 

Previously, I worked as an algorithm developer for Continental in the Department of Computer Vision for about 3 years. I worked extensively on object tracking for autonomous driving systems.

Experience

I worked as an algorithm developer for Continental in the Department of Computer Vision for about 3 and a half years. I worked extensively on multi-object tracking and recognition of traffic signs for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) towards Autonomous Driving.

Education

Currently, I'm a PhD candidate at the Laboratory for Perception, Action, and Cognition (LPAC) advised by Prof. Yanxi Liu at Penn State University. My fields of interest are Computer Vision and Machine Learning. I graduated with my Master's in Computer Science from Penn State in May 2021. During my master's, I worked extensively on motion estimation in biomedical images at the UIT lab under Prof. Mohamed Almekkawy.


I completed my undergrad education in Telecommunications Engineering at the PES Institute of Technology, Bengaluru.
