About Sierra Stroud:
Years in Business
I’ve worked as a customer service professional for the past six years, during which I’ve consistently been sought out for internal promotions and recommended for more complex projects. My growth hasn’t just come from time on paper — it’s come from the relationships I’ve built and the trust I naturally establish with others.
What I’m Passionate About
What truly sets me apart isn’t something you can always see on a résumé. I flourish in real-life interaction. I genuinely enjoy talking to people, understanding them, and making them feel heard. People tend to feel comfortable with me quickly, and I take pride in creating conversations that are both meaningful and productive. I love making others smile — especially when it’s through my work or something I’m uniquely able to contribute.
Beyond work, I’m passionate about building a life I’m proud of. In my 20s, I’ve grown into a deeper understanding of what I want my life to represent. I’m working not just for a paycheck, but for my family, for my future, and for the satisfaction of knowing I’m becoming the best version of myself.
Special Skills I Master
- Strong interpersonal communication — building trust and rapport naturally
- Healthy intrapersonal awareness — reflective, self-motivated, and growth-oriented
- Advanced multitasking in fast-paced environments
- Detail-oriented execution without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Driven, passionate, and internally motivated
- Ability to quickly understand new concepts and adapt
- Taking initiative and confidently stepping into higher responsibility
I’m eager to continue learning and to become a true professional in a new area of focus — someone known not only for competence, but for character as well.
Experience
I graduated in 2019 from Santiago Canyon Community College with an Associate of Arts in Communications. At the time, I wasn’t sure how I would use the degree or what direction I wanted to take professionally. Looking back, that foundation in communication became the common thread in every role I stepped into.
Shortly after graduating, I relocated from California to Texas to attend a professional canine training academy. There, I learned to train dogs in obedience, agility, scent detection, and bite work. I worked extensively with behaviorally challenged dogs, helping rehabilitate them and prepare them for successful adoption. The experience required patience, discipline, emotional awareness, and the ability to read nonverbal cues — skills that strengthened both my leadership and communication abilities.
When COVID-19 disrupted the job market, I navigated a period of uncertainty before joining OC PUPS in October 2020. In this role, I was entrusted with significant responsibility, including operating a company vehicle and working directly in clients’ homes. I built strong relationships with pet owners, earned consistent positive reviews, and became known for reliability and results. My performance led to a promotion to Pack Lead, where I trained and oversaw multiple dogs while maintaining high client satisfaction standards. After approximately two and a half years in the field, I recognized that while I was capable and successful, my long-term passion lay elsewhere.
In 2023, I made the decision to relocate to Florida and transition into hospitality. I began working as a server and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed the fast-paced, people-centered environment. The role demands precision, multitasking, coordination with kitchen staff, and the ability to manage guest expectations seamlessly. I approach hospitality as more than food service — it is about curating an experience. Whether supporting a family outing, a celebration, or an intimate evening, I prioritize guest satisfaction and strive to create an environment where people feel valued and cared for.
Over the past three years, I have refined my interpersonal skills, adaptability, and attention to detail within high-volume service settings. I have also stepped into a training role, assisting with onboarding and mentoring new employees at Social Birdie. This responsibility reflects the trust leadership places in me and reinforces my ability to guide others while maintaining operational standards.
Throughout the past five years, my career has evolved across industries, but one constant remains: I excel in roles centered on communication, trust-building, and service. Each experience has strengthened my resilience, leadership capacity, and commitment to personal and professional growth.
