About Shirley rempelos:
With nine years of federal civilian service supporting the Oregon Army National Guard, I have built my career on strong communication, organization, confidentiality, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly in fast‑paced environments—qualities that closely align with your desired attributes.
Over the past seven years, colleagues and supervisors have consistently recognized my organizational skills, proactive nature, and dedication to achieving results. I am known for anticipating needs, identifying potential challenges early, and implementing solutions that keep operations efficient and on track. I take pride in completing tasks accurately and on time
In my previous role as a Program Analyst (GS‑9), I maintained accurate, timely, and secure records for financial and logistical programs while supporting multiple departments with policy and regulatory guidance. My responsibilities included safeguarding sensitive information, reviewing and approving invoices and travel reimbursements, maintaining digital contract files, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Recurring training in ethics, confidentiality, cyber awareness, and PII protection strengthened my commitment to handling sensitive information with professionalism and care.
I was highly organized and detail‑oriented in this role. I developed tracking systems for purchases and contract documentation, reconciled monthly financial reports with accuracy and consistency, and maintained a structured digital binder system to support audits and oversight. I also coordinated schedules for trainings, site visits, quarterly meetings, maintenance activities, and conferences—often balancing competing priorities and adjusting quickly when urgent matters arose.
Communication has been central to every role I have held. I regularly responded to internal and external customers by phone and email, presented performance evaluation reports, and served as the government’s technical representative in meetings with contractors and contracting officers. Earlier in my career, I independently managed a statewide Family Readiness program supporting 27 volunteers and 31 commanders. These experiences strengthened my ability to build rapport with colleagues at all levels, remain calm and focused under pressure, and work both collaboratively and independently with equal effectiveness.
