Shirley Olivares

I am a bilingual educator and tutor with nearly a decade of experience supporting elementary, middle, and high school students in math, reading, and academic skill development. I have worked as a classroom teacher and private tutor, providing individualized instruction to meet diverse learning needs. I have extensive experience working with bilingual students and families and was recognized as Bilingual Teacher of the Year for my impact in the classroom. My work focuses on building strong foundational skills and academic growth through clear instruction and supportive guidance.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. My educational background has strengthened my understanding of effective teaching practices, student engagement, communication, and educational leadership. This foundation supports my work as an educator and tutor, allowing me to provide structured, thoughtful, and student-centered academic support across grade levels.
