About Shelline Jeanty:

I am a dedicated Licensed Masters Social Worker with years of experience supporting children and families. I’ve earned my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Central Connecticut State University and my Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University, where I’ve also obtained a Trauma Certificate. I am passionate about trauma-informed care, mental health, and social justice, and integrate evidence-based practices to empower individuals and families on their healing journeys.

Clinical Social Work Intern

A Caring Alternative, Asheville, NC (September 2023 - December 2024 | 1,133 hours, Intensive In-Home Services)

• Created treatment plans, conducted clinical comprehensive assessments for diagnosis, and assessed service eligibility.

• Conducted family sessions for clients needing family interventions.

• Facilitated Client and Family Team Meetings (CFTs) with providers monthly to assess interventions and goal progress.
