Experience

Dr. Solmaz Shir is currently a Board Certified Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry. She has practiced general dentistry in a private practice setting in the DFW area and has held a position as part-time faculty at Baylor College of Dentistry. She has also completed specialty residency training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she treated patients with several private practices in Boston.

Education

Dr. Solmaz Shir received her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from the University of Texas at Austin. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She graduated from dental school with a distinction in academic teaching.
